The 2024 Ford Escape should be in our showrooms a few weeks from now. We fully expect it to be every bit as popular as the 2023 series. According to Ford, the 2024 Escape will only feature a few minor modifications. What’s more, the automaker will offer this practical, efficient, attractive compact SUV at highly competitive prices.
In fact, there’s no foreseeable change in the MSRP of the base version of any of the models with 1.5 L or 2.0 L engines. As for the conventional hybrid versions, the price is only going up by $500, while the MSRP of the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version is going down by $500! It’s a veritable success story!
To make the deal even sweeter, all of the 2024 Ford Escape PHEV models are eligible for incentives of up to $5,000 through the Federal Government’s iZEV Program. This amount is on top of up to $7,000 in incentives made available through Quebec’s financial aid program.
In addition to featuring advanced safety technologies and a variety of packages, the 2024 Ford Escape is easy on the eyes, with fluid lines, a sleek front fascia, streamlined headlights, contrasting rocker panels and large windows.
Ford is also going to great lengths to make the Escape easy on the environment. In fact, for the 2024 model year, the automaker will devote 35 percent of its production capacity to the PHEV version and 10 percent to the conventional hybrid.
With a range of 60 km in all-electric mode and a combined range of 771 km, the Escape PHEV is nothing short of remarkable. Behind the wheel, drivers who care about the health of the planet will be able to tackle their daily commute with no worries, as an overnight recharge will all but guarantee the vehicle’s range in electric mode.
The 2024 Ford Escape features a curved dash with a projecting central section equipped with an 8-inch (or optional 13.2-inch) touchscreen. There will also be some minor variations in terms of standard equipment. The block heater, as well as the SecuriCode keyless entry keypad, will now be optionally available. Meanwhile, connected navigation will now come with a one-year service subscription. After that, drivers can continue using their preferred navigation apps through their Apple or Android devices.
